It’s been a hell of a season for the Tar Heels, but they’ve finally reached the last game of the season. The Heels will face the South Carolina Gamecocks in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl with the ultimate goal of ending the season on a high note after having had such high expectations at the start of the season. Needless to say, things didn’t go as planned, but hey, we’re all better people for the experience, right? TO THE RIGHT?!
Either way, a good ol ‘battle between the northern and southern states is something we haven’t been through in a little while, and it should be fun. It’s not everyday that these two teams play in Charlotte, which is a pretty nice setup for both fan bases. These two teams could have landed somewhere in California, which would have been quite difficult if one of the teams fell with COVID and the other team won a trophy by default. Participation trophies are never fun, especially when you literally haven’t done anything to earn them.
