ROAD WORKS – TODAY AND TOMORROW

16th SW Repaving – As scheduled last night, SDOT plans to repave 16th SW between Barton and Cambridge today, 7am-3.30pm, with one lane open each way during the work.

West Marginal/Highland Park Way sign works – Also from SDOT:

On Saturday at the intersection of Highland Park Way SW and West Marginal Way SW, we will be working on replacing the signal cabinet, which houses the signal control equipment at the intersection. During this work, we will have to turn off the signal for a while. We will have someone directing traffic at the intersection to ensure traffic is moving efficiently during this work. We will start as early as 5am and hope to be finished by 1pm on Saturday.

TERMINAL 5

The largest ship to date is on board today – MSC Virgo. We’ll be at T-5 for a closer look.

REMINDER FOR NEXT WEEK

President’s Day Monday – no Gondola service. Too, Seattle Public Schools will be on winter vacation next week.

Low bridge: Automated application cameras continue to be used; restrictions are in effect from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily – except weekends; the bridge is open to everyone until 8 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday mornings. (Access apps are available here for certain categories of drivers.)
