This week’s New Years Smash is the latest Dynamite on TNT and comes from the familiar confines of Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida. Jim Ross returns to the announcers office and Kyle O’Reilly makes his ring debut teaming up with Adam Cole and Bobby Fish against Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor and Trent? Beretta. Ruby Soho’s opponent for the TBS Championship will be set after Jade Cargill faces Thunder Rosa in a semi-final bout of the tournament. Eddie Kingston, Santana & Ortiz face off against Daniel Garcia & 2point0 … and more!

AEW ENJOY RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR DEC. 29
With its killing graces and secret places that no boy can fill. With her hands on her hips, oh and that smile on her lips because she knows it’s killing me, but first I have to blog this wrestling show live here for you folks.
The show opens with the intro video.
Jim Ross makes his TV debut as he returns to the commentary booth after beating cancer.
Christian Cage, Jurassic Express (“Jungle Boy” Jack Perry & Luchasaurus), & Lucha Brothers (Penta el Zero M & Rey Fenix) vs. FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) & Hardy Family Office (Isiah Kassidy, Marq Quen, & ” Big money “Matt Hardy)
Wheeler and Cage to start, feeling with a bit of a light mat grapple, a first Killswitch attempt blocked but a flapjack connects and Christian takes him around the corner for set-ups! Tag to Perry, Off the Ropes, Double Hip Toss and Cash Tags to Harwood!
In the corner, the body blows, Jungle Boy flips it over for chops then drops it with a series of elbows and a dropkick! Dax on the wrong side of town, get hit, score to Cage, whip arm wring, uppercut, whip but Christian gets a front kick and a right hand before choking Harwood on the ropes!
Slingshot to the ground for a palm kick, snapping Dax’s neck on the top rope, tag towards Perry and he goes for Snare Trap but Cash breaks him! The match collapses, the Lucha brothers enter and Kassidy works with double teams, Jungle Boy eliminates Quen with a drop-kick from the brothers!
Isiah with a slam mat and a tag in Marq, Quen with an avalanche Frankensteiner after a few back and forth, Hardy legal, Side Effect … NO! Taking Jack around the corner for the “delete” smashes to the face, Tully Blanchard with a few low blows while referee Aubrey Edwards is distracted and the heat segment continues!
Tag out, Lucha Brothers who heats up and takes out each heel in turn, double DDT on FTR, Fenix from the top with an atomic senton in Quen … SO CLOSE! Quen with a vicious DDT to slow the tide, Dax enters, the big gourdbuster gets two! The Suplex elevator puts Fenix in the corner, he knocks Harwood down with a big chop and chases him with a moonsault that takes out FTR!
Tag done, Luchasaurus in it and he cleans the house! Big pop-up drop on Kassidy, stacking the FTRs in the corner and crushing them! Corner to corner backsplashes and big boots, chokeslam at Dax and Penta are tagged blind! Up and over, lungblower connects for two!
Dinosaur man on the ground with head shots, Matt puts him in the post and Fenix dives on Private Party! Jungle Boy follows up with one of his own, Penta with a sole that rolls in the ring but Cage watches him! Penta shoves him, FTR takes advantage …
FTR and Hardy Family Office win by pinfall with FTR’s Big Rig on Christian Cage.
And so we are going to break.
2.0 (Jeff Parker & Matt Lee) & Daniel Garcia vs. Eddie Kingston & Proud-N-Powerful (Ortiz & Santana)
Kingston distracted with Garcia, Lee catches him off guard but Eddie is able to ignore him and chases Daniel out of the ring! Heels swarm, referee Rick Knox struggles to restore order but ends up getting there! Kingston is relentless and ends up taking a legal Parker for a step in Ortiz!
Up and down, duck below, arm drag, Jeff with a legpick, kick in the stomach, front to back, drop down pulls Parker’s legs out from under him and the blanket in gets two! Tag Santana, take Jeff apart, but he runs away and tags Red Death in it! Garcia with a front kick, reverse whip, Santana catches him with a back elbow!
Start up, enzuigiri connects, snap suplex, cuts Daniel in the corner and Kingston bites his forehead! Garcia fights a few double teams but Ortiz gets it in a Cobra Twist. Switch to a sideways header, Lee with a blind tag and 2.0 take Angel out on the floor!
The heat segment starts and we go to the break.
Back from the commercial, the tags are done and Eddie Kingston is a red-faced god of violence! Machine gun shots at Garcia, exploder at Parker, a few tags, back and forth …
2.0 & Daniel Garcia win by pinfall with a schoolboy and a handful of Matt Lee tights on Santana.
After the game, they stretch Santana with the bell— AND CHRIS JERICHO SAVES THE SAVINGS! He’s got the baseball bat and he’s cleaning the house!
Jericho and Kingston clash and nibble restlessly. They are about to throw themselves and Ortiz gets between them!
Maxwell Jacob Friedman gets promoted and he says another wrestling company might be able to handle him right, but that’s a question for the 2024 auction war. “Smart” Mark Sterling shows up to remind Wardlow that the terms of his contract state that all titles he could win are the property of MJF.
And so we are going to break.
Back from advertising, Christian Cage and Jurassic Express face the Lucha brothers.
Cage challenges them to defend the tag titles next week and Penta accuses him of not being a good tag partner and tells Jungle Boy to let go of the past. Fenix takes up the challenge!
Colin Delaney vs. Wardlow
Wardlow with a big lariat, a powerbomb, a second, Delaney trying to clear his head but Mr. Mayhem just hits a third and a fourth …
Wardlow wins by pinfall with the Powerbomb Symphony.
The Superkliq and the reDRagon are behind the scenes.
Adam Cole says they’re going to become the biggest faction in history, and Matt Jackson is skeptical. Kyle O’Reilly asks for a minute to talk to Cole, the Bucks say whatever he can say to him, he can tell them, but he insists and Adam tells them to leave.
Kyle asks Bobby Fish to go too, and says things have gone wrong between them, and tonight he knows Bobby is backing him up, and he’s going to have to find out if Cole is doing it too.
Dan Lambert is in the ring with Men of the Year.
He complains about how Cody Rhodes sucks and how he turned Arn Anderson from rider to whore, which is the perfect chain to talk about Brandi Rhodes, who is the first Brandi he knows not to be a strip- teaser.
But he knows Cody has been through a lot to try and be successful in pro wrestling, and AEW fans might be dumb, but even idiots don’t like the taste of the shit sandwich they are. shove them down their throats.
Enter Brandi Rhodes.
She calls Lambert Paul Heyman, a bargain basement, to whom he says he prefers Jim Cornette, but the sound of her voice makes her wish he was back with his balls clipped to his legs. She asks him when the last time he was beaten by a woman and didn’t have to pay for it, because she’s going to give him a big ass tonight for free.
Dan claims he’s going to beat her, and she says he might be a black belt but she’s a black bitch, and she takes off her heels to fight! Dustin Rhodes rushes in to perform the save and “All Ego” Ethan Page blows him up as he and his friends leave.
The comments amplify the rest of tonight’s show and we’re off for the break.

Jade Cargill vs. Thunder Rosa (AEW TBS Championship Tournament Semifinals)
Rosa with a knee dropkick out of the doors, goes to dive but “Smart” Mark Sterling gets in the way and she drops him with a cannonball from the apron! Cargill from behind with forearms, putting her in the barricade, knees up, Thunder with a crossbody out of the apron but Jade grabs her and hits a backbreaker!
Rosa recovers, kicks, Cargill catches her and puts her hard in the post! Posing on the apron, Tonnerre pulls away and puts her to the post and we are going to break.
Returning from the publicity, Rosa hits her in the corner, a dropkick from the basement to the inside of the thigh, another, kicks in the legs, a folding press for two! The elbow falls on the leg, Cargill counter with a Samoan Drop pop-up but she limps! The Canadian backbreaker rack follows, the rack falls, but again his knee hurts!
Waistline, standing switch, Rosa with a shinbreaker! Thread the toe through the four-shaped leg lock in the middle of the ring! Out of there, trying to put it back on but a masked woman comes out of the crowd and smashes a bottle in Thunder’s face! Jade takes over …
