A football group that offers kickabout sessions for dads is looking for Ukrainian dads in and around Preston to participate for free.

Teamkickabout CIC was founded as a community benefit company in 2020, they now have 10 locations in Lancashire and play locally at the Blackburn Rovers Indoor Center on Wednesday nights from 8pm.
Sessions are specifically designed for dads of all skill and fitness levels to come and play together in non-competitive sessions.

Darwen, father-of-one and co-founder and community director, Graham Sims, said: “We started this so that we could connect dads, grandfathers and male guardians in an environment where they can s have fun and burn some calories while making new friends.”
Ever since things broke out in Ukraine, the manager of Teamkickabout has wanted to help.
Peter Brooks Co-Founder and Managing Director decided to travel to Poland where he could deliver items donated by friends, family and members of the Teamkickabout community.

Peter said: “The truth is, it’s a horrible situation that none of us can fully comprehend. I think if you are able to be able to help even the smallest, you do. If you can, you give – it should be that simple.
“We have an amazing group of dads here, many of whom want to help out and be part of something positive.”
