NFL Combine 2022 practices are scheduled to begin Thursday afternoon.
Detroit Lions general manager Brad Holmes and head coach Dan Campbell have already returned to Detroit, but that doesn’t mean their assessment of draft prospects has stopped.
NFL teams have the opportunity to interview players on Zoom until the draft.
New policies that have been put in place over the past 24 months have given front offices several other methods to assess potential leads.
“I think the virtual world has taught us how to be much more efficient in many areas. You’ve heard me talk a lot, I’m a big proponent of using technology as an accelerator who it is “, said Holmes. “So there weren’t a lot of complaints from us (about the virtual combine last year). We just sort of maximized the resources we had at that time.”
