A man described by former Eureka Police Chief Steve Watson as “a possible serial killer in the making” has been arrested on suspicion of killing a man who was stabbed to death in 2017 while he was sleeping in an alley.
Wesley Lee Starritt, 23, has been formally charged with the murder of Charles “Chuckie” Levaugh, 56, who was found dead near the 2000 E Street block in Eureka on December 4, 2017, the police department said. Eureka. today.
