NEW winter weather advisory issued for Monday morning snowfall | Weather Blog

The National Weather Service has issued a NEW winter weather advisory to alert you to the impact of snow Monday morning.

A fast short wave will bring scattered snow showers to our communities in the early hours of Monday morning. The additional accumulation should be an inch or less, but since this snow falls before and during the morning commute, the roads could be slippery. With fewer people expected to be on the road Monday morning for the MLK holiday, the threat is slightly lower than on a normal Monday morning. Upstream reports indicate that this system only dropped a light dusting of snow.
