Nita Hawes’ Nightmare # 3 (REVIEW)

Nita Hawes Nightmare # 3

The first two issues of Nita Hawes’ Nightmare Blog were excellent, and this one is no exception. The story continues to be a page-turner, but there is one element this issue has others lacking.

Picture comics
Written by: Rodney Barnes
Art by: Well-Bee
Colors by: Luis NCT with Mar Silvestre Galotto
Letters from: Marshall Dillon

While this title tied to Rodney Barnes and Jason Sean Alexander’s Killadelphia in the front pages of Nita Hawes’ Nightmare Blog # 1, readers had yet to see a character from this title cross those pages. But everything changes with this problem. This character has a chance to make a huge impact, but it’s unclear how long this individual will stay. At the very least, you’d think this character will have a huge impact on Nita as a demon hunter / sleuth and the like.

But as impressive as the story was, the art of the title was its calling card. Horrible, slimy images. And Well-Bee is sort of precise with this ridiculous imagery.

If you love Killadelphia this is a must read. And if you’re a horror fan but haven’t tried Killadelphia yet, you can always log onto Nita Hawes’ Nightmare blog. There are times that might not carry the same weight as Killadelphia readers, but that will be the only problem you’ll run into.
