Spotify Blend playlists should change daily. So why doesn’t your Blend seem to be updating as promised?
Are you getting a “Spotify Blend not found” error message on your Blend Spotify playlists? Let’s see if we can fix this problem.
Spotify Blend should work for both free and premium Spotify subscribers. It combines your musical tastes with up to 10 friends to create a playlist that shows off all your musical tastes – introducing each other to new artists and genres.
It’s a nice and annoying feature when it doesn’t work as it should.
Spotify Blend not updating?
The same tracks lying around for months on your Spotify Blend? Sometimes songs in the playlist may say “Added 1 day ago” – even though they have been on the playlist for weeks.
Blend works best when listening to new music, because Spotify is constantly listening, learning from your musical tastes to recommend new songs. For Blend playlists to update and provide a diverse mix of songs, you need to be listen to new music it doesn’t just come from your Made For You mixes or the current Blend mix.
Another reason why Blend stays the same could be that you and your friends don’t like enough songs or follow new artists. Try exploring new music and you should see the difference in your Blend within a few weeks.
When you first merge with another user or a group of friends, the recommendations come from the songs you are individually listening to at that particular time and will evolve as you like new songs.
Otherwise, the changes might just be too subtle to notice immediately, such as a difference in song order.
