Coworking West of Seattle leaves its longtime location at Morgan Junction the day after tomorrow. But it’s not just about a new location – the coworking company will have two new locations. On Monday, August 1, WSC will open this owner Ross Bevilacqua calls a “pop-up location” at 4454 California SW, next to Doll Parts Collective. They expect to stay there for about a year until the redevelopment project of this site is launched. But in the meantime, around Labor Day, they will also be opening a newly constructed 3,000 square foot space in this near-full mixed-use building at 9036 35th SW.
WSC describes this space as:
Class A office (best in class with hard floors, high ceilings, 12 foot windows, LED lighting, air conditioning, telephone rooms. a large conference room, a quiet room. reserved parking and plenty of parking in the street without a meter. The building is brand new construction and will have covered/secure bike storage and walking distance to Westwood village.Rooftop access with stunning water views and views of Mt Rainier.
Why move? Ross explained to guests via email that if they stayed at 6040 California SW, “our rent would be almost 50% more than before, so it was time for us to find a new home.”
