THEFT IN STORE: The California/Charlestown 7-11 was held early this morning. According to the preliminary police summary, two people entered the store at a quarter to 5; one pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money. The report says they then “seized the cash and took some tobacco products, (then) left the store (and) got into a possible Toyota Prius and drove off at high speed.” The only descriptive information in the summary is that the thief with the gun was wearing gloves. STOLEN TRUCK: Texter reports that their dark blue 1993 Ford Ranger truck was stolen early this morning at 34/Holden. It has silver Harley-Davidson decals on both side windows and the rear passenger window, as well as a Go Cougs decal on the driver’s side. Plaque C20333X; the owner notes, “I always had the temperature. in the rear window, I just received the plate on Saturday. SPD incident # 2022-173230.

PROWLER: Eric emailed to report a prowler at 1am near 34th/Spokane: “Police called. When they arrived, he was told to leave. Prowler wouldn’t leave if his neighbors told him to. No known theft. SPD incident # 2022-173033.
