West Seattle Blog… | Subject: Great Will Experiment with WS Attorney Kailei Feeney (of DeVrieze/Carney)

Hello, I wanted to give a strong recommendation to attorney Kailei Feeney who recently redid our stale wills (she is at the DeVrieze/Carney law firm, the “white house” in California a few blocks north of Junction . )
She spent a lot of time with us in creating the new Wills/Powers of Attorney/Medical Directives package, and explained many of the changes to the law since our last legalities were made.
She had many great suggestions on how to handle the important choice of “personal representative” (executor) for our wills, since our former named executors are deceased. She is very up to date with elder law as it often intersects with wills and estate planning. Even down to details such as a person’s “digital life” that now needs to be dealt with after death, and the ongoing care of pets. With our former attorney, the will was a one-time setup, but with attorney Feeney (and others at DeVrieze/Carney), it’s the start of a relationship as your life changes over the next few years and circumstances require adjustments in wills.
Attorney Feeney really brings her heart to this legal process, she made sure all of our questions were answered, and I encourage anyone considering creating or updating their will to schedule an appointment with her. . Fees were reasonable for the will and the other three documents – with similar wills made by spouses, this was definitely an affordable package.
So, if your will is no longer current, or if you are concerned about wills in relation to moving in or out of Washington State, or if you need to give serious thought to choosing your personal representative and what he will have to be able to do, or if you have had children since your last will, or if you have had a deceased spouse, or if…. or if…. or if….. There are so many reasons, really: just make an appointment with attorney Kailei Feeney and reassure yourself to help you prepare for your endgame.
