WWE NXT RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR DEC. 14
Hide behind the door, we will live in disused pits and wells, hoping for a little more. I live in the Ice Age, and I’m going to be blogging this pro wrestling show live for you guys.
The show opens with a recap of the Johnny Gargano / Grayson Waller angle from last week.
We get “a few moments ago” footage of Grayson Waller arriving at the arena with a chorus of boos.
Cameron Grimes vs. Duke Hudson (no restrictions)
Grimes attacks Hudson early, putting a trash can over his head and the apron penalty kick! Breaking him with a trash can lid, causing him to fall back inside, but Duke counterattacks and knocks him down with the lid right away! Put his boots in the corner, Cameron with a boot, plunging moonsault … NO!
Back on the ground, Hudson throws some loot aside and breaks Grimes’ neck over the top rope! The slingshot is back inside, the German suplex hooks up and Cameron heads for the ground to recover this time! Duke under the ring for a steel chair, Grimes retaliates but a thumbs-in the eye stops him dead!
Hudson prepares him for the powerbomb crucifix but Cameron turns against a Frankensteiner who puts him in the lexan barrier! Back inside, Grimes sets up a chair and goes for a Poetry in Motion lariat but Duke against a Rock Bottom through the chair and we’re going to bust.
Returning from the publicity, seeking a position in the turnbuckles with a poker table set up below, Grimes does a diving crossbody above the table and gets a count of two deep! Cameron with circular kicks, Hudson with a schoolboy, knocked down on a victory roll, start in the corner but Duke bites it!
Grimes with a superkick, Hudson catches him … POWERBOMB ACROSS THE POKER TABLE BUT REFEREE AJA PERERA WILL NOT COUNT HIM ON THE BROKEN TABLE! He adjusts his pin and … SO CLOSE! Duke comes out of the clippers from under the ring and grabs Cameron by the hair, but a kick cuts him off before he gets any buzz!
Grimes with Frankensteiner Poison, Cave-In Modified …
Cameron Grimes wins by pinfall with a Cave-In through a chair.
After the match, Grimes tears off Hudson’s wig and reveals his baldness!
Behind the scenes, Cora Jade is interviewed.
She is interrupted by Dakota Kai, who tries to warn her to team up with Raquel Gonzalez, but Cora does not and says she will be one step closer to the title.
Grayson Waller walks backstage and everyone gives him plenty of room for the break.
Returning from the commercial, Briggs & Jensen receive a video package of them hooking up with Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter and going to a gig and the like.
Grayson Waller enters and takes the microphone.
He basks in the “asshole!” sings and mocks Johnny Gargano’s speech last week and says he’s past his welcome. He shoots a few stills he filmed after his attack last week and says it gives him chills to see her again, but he wants to be realistic. Last week he established himself as THE NXT superstar, winning WarGames and ending the career of a legend.
And then he went to party with celebrities this weekend, and what did we do? We complained about him online. (Well I had a great time visiting my girlfriends with my wife, mate.) He berates Vic Joseph and says he doesn’t need friends, family or fans, the only thing he needs to reach the top of this industry is Grayson Waller.
We get a recap of MSK’s meeting with their shaman, Matt Riddle.
We go behind the scenes with the Diamond Mine and Malcolm Bivens cuts a promo featuring Bron Breakker vs. Roderick Strong for later tonight. Roddy comes forward and says they’re going to divide and conquer tonight, and he’s going to take Bron down on his own.
And so we are going to break.
Back from the publicity, we get a new episode of Lashing Out with Lash Legend.
She has two special guests for us this week and it’s jacket time.
Karen Q walks past her in pajamas and they thank Lash for having them, which leads her to talk about their fashion sense, which leads Ikemen Jiro to ditch the strong style line. They open up about their feud with Grizzled Young Vets and say they’re going to wipe the floor with them.
Amari Miller vs. Ivy Nile
Encirclement, collar and elbow, take control of the head and Nil in control early. Miller turns back to a headcissssors but an unamused Ivy sits up then knocks over with the handstand. Backtracking, removing the belt, choosing a leg, Amari slips away every time! The whip blocked, the forearm pulled towards the kidneys keeps Nile above her!
Break his face in the turnbuckles, figure four scissors in the corner, dip his elbow in push-ups on Miller’s back! Front chancellery, snap suplex, float over, Amari schoolboy, crucifix, sunset flip but she can’t hold Ivy! Backslide, roll through, reverse roundhouse, snapmare, back heel kick and Miller is still in the fight!
Shotgun dropkick, Nile retaliates with a slam, a dropkick, a waist measurement, O’Connor rolls directly into a sleeper behind his back …
Ivy Nile wins by submission with a Dragon Sleeper behind her back.
Xyon Quinn is interviewed behind the scenes.
He calls Elektra Lopez and now says he knows the rules of the game she is playing, keep going.
Robert Stone rolls over to complain of disrespect.
Von Wagner rolls around and says he’s going to run them over and hit them to the ground because he can, and if you have a problem with that you can tell him to his face.
Joe Gacy is giving Harland a pep talk in the woods for some reason and we’re going to take a break.
Returning from the publicity, we receive another shamanic vignette from Matt Riddle and MSK.
Riddle goes through their fanny pack and pulls out a baseball bat, along with a traffic cone, the former United States Championship, and says it’s all weighing them down and they need to focus on etiquette titles if they want to get them back.
They ask how to clear their minds and let go, and Matt pulls a scooter out of the bag for each of them, and they leave.
Guru Raaj vs. Harland
Harland took control early, slamming Raaj across the mat over and over, scratching the bones of his forearm in his face…
Harland wins by fall with a slam.
After the match, Gacy asks him if he’s feeling better and Harland shakes his head before returning to the poor fallen guru and banging his face against the mat a few more times! Joe manages to calm him down.
LA Knight is interviewed as he walks into the arena.
He mocks Grayson Waller for a long time and asks someone to go get him for him.
Cora Jade comes in to send us to break up.
Back from the publicity, Joe Gacy brings Harland out of the arena and down a few steps, surrounded by a crowd of referees, and he ends up throwing a poor crew member down the stairs!
